Tauhara Mountain Trust was established as the roopu to provide kaitiakitanga for the tipuna of nga hapu o Tauhara, Tauhara Maunga. We are committed to the preservation, restoration and enhancement of Tauhara Maunga for future generations to enjoy. Today, Tauhara Maunga is considered an ecological reserve, with the intent to re-introduce native species back to the maunga.

Tauhara Mountain Trust BUSINESS
Tauhara Working group
The TM15 Trust and Tauhara Mountain Trust have formed the Tauhara Working Group to progress the mahi on Destination Tauhara with three key workstreams:
1. Project Hikoi: realising opportunities for the Tauhara Maunga walkway.
2. Project Kaitiaki: restoring Tauhara Maunga to the time of tupuna Ngatoroirangi.
3. Project Destination: tourism and employment opportunities that can be developed on TM15 Trust land.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
